“Hi, my name is Bree Sanders. I am the new public information officer. I worked for the past 10 years with WSPA, Channel 7 in Spartanburg,” Sanders told the council. Staff said Sanders will lead the city’s communications function and that her normal day will start after the council’s morning schedule.
Councilmembers welcomed Sanders and noted the position had been requested for several years. No formal action was required; Sanders’ hire was presented as a staff update.
