Bluffton Historic Preservation Commission re-elects Evan Goodwin as chair, Joe Duvall as vice chair

The Town of Bluffton Historic Preservation Commission elected Evan Goodwin chair and Joe Duvall vice chair at its Feb. 5 meeting, and appointed members to the Historic Preservation Review Committee.
The vote to re-elect Goodwin and to elect Duvall as vice chair were taken by voice vote at the start of the meeting. Commissioners also appointed Tim Probst and Jim Hess to the Historic Preservation Review Committee; the commission agreed to a three-member review panel including the chair and two additional members.
The election followed adoption of the Jan. 8 minutes. No public comment was recorded before the commission moved into its business agenda. Commissioners discussed capacity and scheduling for HPRC duties before confirming appointments. The roll call at the start of the meeting recorded Chairman Evan Goodwin, Vice Chairman Joe Duvall, Commissioners Heather Goodwin, Jim Hess, Tim Probst and Debbie Wunder as present.
The commission proceeded to consider three substantive Certificate of Appropriateness requests and a public-project recommendation later in the meeting.
