The Baker County Land Planning Agency on March 13 approved three rezoning ordinances and a subdivision replat, moves staff said would bring legacy parcels into conformance with current zoning rules and allow planned housing on those parcels.
Staff presented and the board approved ordinance number 2025-003, rezoning a 10-acre parcel owned by Mr. Pippins on Mud Lake Road (about a mile south of County Road 125) from Agricultural 7.5 to Agricultural 5. Staff said the applicant intends to build a garage apartment to occupy temporarily while constructing a site-built primary residence, and that the proposed zoning would allow two dwellings on the property in the future. The board moved, seconded and voted in favor; the motion carried.
