Key items the committee flagged include funding and repairs for city staircases, maintenance and snow removal for bicycle lanes, how a proposed utility tax would fund sidewalk repairs, and ensuring traffic impact fees and Complete Streets policy changes are communicated to neighborhoods during the four‑year project planning cycle.
Why it matters: These programs shape neighborhood mobility, safety and infrastructure funding. Committee members said some neighborhoods have trouble finding project documents on city web pages and encouraged clearer links and contact information so residents can follow designs and timelines.
No formal legislation was adopted at the CA meeting; the committee is continuing outreach to staff and plans future votes and endorsements at committee meetings.
