Adrianne Walker, staff for the board, introduced the item and said the property sits in the Pensacola Historic District Zone HC1 in City Council District 6 and that Christopher Carroll was seeking final review for the two‑story home. Summer Carter, representing West Florida Construction Group and the applicant, described exterior materials in the packet — hardy lap siding, trim and columns, standing‑seam metal roof, metal railing and vinyl windows with simulated divided lights — and said the design and historic‑color choices were included in the submission.
A board member complimented the “very complete package” and called the front elevation “broadly consistent” with the district. One member said the fenestration on the rear was less important because it is not readily visible from public right‑of‑way. After a motion and second, the board approved the design by voice vote; the transcript records the motion as carried.
The applicant may now proceed to secure required building permits. The board record notes no conditions attached to the final approval on the exterior materials and finishes described in the application packet.
