Staff reported the meters had some initial programming issues but are now ready; installation is planned to begin next week with an estimated throughput of roughly 75–100 installs per week and expected completion in Q3 2025. Residents will be notified before crews visit their property; Silcock said installations will occur during normal business hours by city personnel wearing city identification.
Other projects: The Pin Oak pump station equipment has been ordered with expected delivery in mid‑March and a short work schedule to follow. The water plant generator project is roughly 90% complete with transfer switch schematics remaining; staff expect Q4 2025 completion. Commission room and HVAC upgrades are underway; the city is resolving subcontractor and design issues and will provide firmer timelines when available.
