The presenter said the items were below the purchasing threshold requiring commission approval and therefore staff would purchase them without returning to the commission for each item.
Commissioners thanked the department and Phillips 66 for the donation. No formal vote was required; staff characterized the donation as significant support for training and specialized rescue capabilities.
