Trustees approve routine actions: minutes, tax list recognition, lien sale authorization and several contracts

The board voted to approve minutes from an executive session, a work session and a prior regular meeting. Trustees also voted to recognize the village’s then-current list of unpaid 2024–25 property taxes and to authorize a lien sale scheduled for March 13, 2025 at Village Hall at 10:00 a.m., both votes recorded as approvals.
On procurement and capital items, trustees approved a consultant agreement for $9,750 to assist with converting the municipal boiler to natural gas (the consultant firm is the same engineering firm working on the library project and the village’s solar design work). The board also awarded a contract to Landy Contracting for $28,400 to extend and regrade a walkway and reset brick pavers at the library rear patio to improve ADA access; the vendor was the low bidder and trustees approved the award.
Trustees approved a motion to increase the village’s contribution to the Bronxville Senior Citizens council, but the minutes and the discussion record an inconsistent set of dollar figures (meeting references included $4,000, $6,000 and $10,000 in different lines). The board approved the increase; the final authorized figure is not clear in the meeting record and should be confirmed with the village treasury for an exact amount.
Separately, trustees declared a 2016 Ford Explorer used by the police department surplus and authorized its sale at auction; the vehicle was described by staff as too costly to repair. All motions that were moved and seconded at the meeting passed by voice vote with trustees answering "Aye."
