The Lincoln City Council approved a manager application for Aldi Inc.’s store (Aldi 27) at 8701 South 20th Street to continue selling alcohol.
Ava Tracy spoke on behalf of the applicant and said Brian, the store manager, oversees the Lincoln Aldi locations and that the store is “proud to serve the Lincoln communities.” No members of the public offered testimony against the application. The council moved, seconded, and approved the manager application in a roll call vote with the motion carried 6-0.
The approval allows the store to continue its existing alcohol sales under city licensing rules. No conditions or restrictions were recorded in the public hearing.
