Hudson Housing Authority says Warren Street and Columbia property purchases are progressing, partner negotiations ongoing

Board members asked for clarification about timing. Jeff projected the purchase process would be wrapped by the board’s February meeting so the authority can move forward. He said staff hope to resubmit the authority’s proposal to HCR for approval and enter HCR’s pipeline, but did not give a specific HCR decision date.

Jeff said staff are negotiating details with the development partner and working through unspecified stipulations. The board did not adopt any new contract or authorize an expenditure during the meeting; the report was informational and described ongoing negotiation and next steps. Jeff characterized the work as progressing at a good pace, and said the authority will return with more details once the purchase and stipulations are settled.

Also noted in the meeting: newly appointed Commissioner Sarah Black attended but has not yet taken her oath and therefore did not vote. No dollar amounts, closing dates, or firm contract terms were specified during the discussion.
