• Approve minutes and consent agenda — council approved minutes for 02/11/2025, 02/19/2025, and 02/25/2025; consent agenda approved.
• Correspondence — Approved three letters of support for Opalco’s submarine transmission cable funding, addressed to Representative Larson and Senators Cantwell and Murray.
• Fraser Homestead Preserve — Adopted a resolution authorizing the direct sale of two southern parcels of Fraser Homestead Preserve to the National Park Service (final public hearing held; resolution approved).
• Conservation Land Bank ordinance — Adopted an ordinance amending San Juan County Code section 2.12.0.02 to extend the collection of the conservation-area REET from 2026 to 2038.
• Parks and Fair code / hearing — Set a public hearing for 04/15/2025 at 09:15 AM to consider amendments to San Juan County Code Chapter 2.4 relating to parks and fair advisory bodies.

• Federal trail earmark — Motion passed to redirect the federal multimodal trail award originally scoped for Zylstra Lake to creation of a trail and boardwalk at Beaverton Marsh Preserve (San Juan County Land Bank), subject to approval by Representative Larson’s office; staff to confirm and proceed with engineering and NEPA review if approved.
• Fairgrounds road vacation — Introduced a resolution declaring intent to vacate and abandon Fairgrounds Road; process initiated (order, engineer report and planning commission review to follow).
• Committee appointments — Approved appointment of Mike Douglas to the Deer Harbor Planning Review Committee (term 03/18/2025–03/18/2027) and Cindy Stern and Rich Goodhart to the Citizen Salary Commission (terms 03/18/2025–03/18/2029).
