Parks board approves disc golf reservation fee: $40 residents, $80 nonresidents

The Pacific Parks Board voted to add the disc golf course to the park rental application and approved a $40 resident / $80 nonresident all-day rental fee.
Parks Superintendent Scott Fowler added the course to the rental form and proposed the fee structure. Board members said the proposed rates aligned with comparable area parks and with feedback from local disc-golf volunteers. A motion to approve the change and fees was moved, seconded and carried.
Board members asked that signage be placed near the course entrance indicating when the course is open, closed or reserved. Parks staff noted they will forward the approved change to the Board of Aldermen for final intake and will add the course and rates to the park rental application paperwork.
