Administrator (unnamed) announced an open house on Monday, March 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the council chambers to discuss plans to expand and renovate City Hall. "Just wanted to let, everyone know that might be watching that, next Monday, March 10, we will be hosting a, open house, to talk, a little bit more in detail about the plans here at city hall for expanding and renovating. So that is from 4 to 7 in the council chambers," the administrator said.
The council also moved to appoint Claire Garcia to the park board. A council member clarified the term expiration in the meeting, saying the "expiration of that term is twelvethirty onetwenty 25." The motion to appoint Garcia was approved by voice vote.
Other routine business included a motion to pay the bills, which the council approved. The meeting included brief scheduling notes: the League of Minnesota Cities event was noted for Thursday, March 6, and the administrator said he and another official planned travel in March to discuss a bonding request related to pavement and parking, with the precise travel date to be confirmed. The council also acknowledged thank-you letters from Anna Marie's Alliance and CentraCare for donations from charitable gambling proceeds.
There was no public input during the public-comment period, the council moved through the agenda items with little discussion and adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
