Councilmember reports accompanying the meeting noted broad regional participation and the urgency of protecting long-term water supplies for Cloverdale and surrounding communities. One council member moved to add Potter Valley project updates as a standing agenda item; other council members supported the direction, and staff agreed to include updates as appropriate.
The council emphasized the item is intended to preserve momentum and provide a forum for regular updates rather than to substitute for technical or regulatory decision-making by state or regional agencies. The council also noted any future substantive actions would be brought before the full council for consideration.
