KDADS announces three grants for day‑service transformation, 14(c) employment and conflict‑of‑interest mitigation

Megan also described a 14(c) to competitive integrated employment grant aimed at helping employers who use 14(c) certificates pay employees at least minimum wage and transition toward competitive integrated employment. That grant also has an April 14, 2025, 5 p.m. application deadline; a pre‑bid conference was scheduled for March 20, 2025, at 2 p.m., and the KDADS web page was listed as the application portal.
KDADS said it plans to post a Conflict‑Free Kansas reimbursement grant on March 24, with a pre‑bid conference March 27. The agency described the Conflict‑Free Kansas grant as reimbursement‑based and intended to "maximize the confidence and trust that individuals receiving services can place in their service plan, ensuring providers comply with federal regulations by helping mitigate conflict of interest." KDADS said the Conflict‑Free grant information was forthcoming on its website.
KDADS encouraged providers to register for pre‑bid conferences listed on KDADS' site and to submit questions by the posted deadlines. Megan said questions for the Day Services Transformation grant were due March 26, 2025.
