Parks update: pool renovations, spray grounds and boat‑launch work in progress

Spray‑grounds are scheduled at Valencia, Bilberry and CC Antoine, and the downtown spray park was described as a roughly 120‑day project that should be complete by warm weather. CC Antoine’s park and new bathrooms were described as substantially complete and staff said they expect a grand opening soon.
Staff also said the public boat launch contract was awarded to a contractor who faced higher insurance and city contracting requirements; materials have been ordered and work is expected to start as weather permits. Parks staff said supply and weather delays affected scheduling but that construction should begin soon.
