The Carter County Commissioners voted to accept a $6,710 bid from Picture Perfect Services to repair wind and vehicle damage to the county hospital building and to fix a chain-link fence by the propane tanks.
At a work session inspection, staff reported an estimated total repair cost of $6,710, which includes fence work near on-site propane tanks. Commissioner (unnamed) moved to accept the bid from Picture Perfect Services for that amount; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Dan Ditsdorf and carried on a voice vote after no public comment was offered.
After the vote, staff signed paperwork to send the approved estimate to the contractor; the meeting record shows the commission agreed staff could edit the work order to read “Carter County” and then email it back to the vendor. Staff thanked colleagues for their work on the estimate and said they would send the signed document to the contractor.
The vote formalizes repairs identified during a recent site inspection and authorizes the county to move forward with the contractor’s scope and price as presented to the commission.
