The item was introduced as “Item 11” on the court’s agenda and carried after a motion and second; the court voted in favor with no recorded opposition. The court removed an earlier proposed line-item transfer after negotiating the final cost down from a higher initial estimate.
County staff and the county attorney told the court the arrangement uses Sourcewell, a Minnesota-based cooperative purchasing program, as the procurement vehicle. The county attorney described the package as complex and said it ties to other documents not before the court, and recommended relying on IT to manage technical implementation and vendor relationships.
