Board members noted BNSF/Burlington Northern will install spurs at their cost if a user requests them, but there is currently no identified party to pay for construction.
Regarding sidewalks, members said some stretches in the Old Village are uneven or patched with blacktop instead of concrete. The EDA asked Marty (Public Works) to take a short, practical drive‑through to identify locations needing attention and to report back; this was framed as an operational task rather than a full engineering assessment.
Both items were recorded as informational and will return to a future agenda only if new developments or funding arise.
