Wyoming sets spring medallion hunt for March 3–7; clues posted daily on Facebook

City staff announced that the City of Wyoming will host its spring medallion hunt from Monday, March 3, through Friday, March 7, 2025, with daily clues posted at 9 a.m. on the city’s Facebook page.
At the Feb. 18 meeting, City staff member McFarland said the hunt dates are set to coincide with Forest Lake Area spring break. McFarland told the council that the exact location and the daily clues have been finalized and will be posted at 9 a.m. each day during the event; he said that when the medallion is found the city will post all clues at once.
Council members and staff discussed the event briefly; one council member and staff indicated this appears to be the fourth year the city has hosted the hunt and that a larger celebration may be planned next year for the fifth anniversary.
No permitting or budget changes related to the event were reported at the Feb. 18 meeting. The city indicated event details and clues will be published on the City of Wyoming Facebook page in early March.
