Commissioners approved a hotel-occupancy tax application intended to expand who may apply for county allocations under the county’s interpretation of Tax Code Chapter 351, approved a proclamation recognizing April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, and authorized up to $200,000 of interest earnings in the Texas Class EOC account to be used as a contingency for the EOC build-out. The court also released a construction letter of credit for the Heritage Oaks subdivision and accepted a maintenance letter of credit for $880,100 to replace it.
