Motion and vote: Commissioner Schmuelz moved to approve the joint powers agreement; a second was recorded and the motion carried by voice vote.
Staff said the coordinated approach is expected to produce cost savings and reduce disruption for the traveling public; final schedules and work limits will be coordinated with the city.
