Braithwaite, who identified herself as a student council member and a page sponsored by Senator Cook, told the committee the experience increased her interest in local and state government and made her more comfortable asking informed questions. "It has taught me a lot and it's really getting me excited about getting involved on a local and state level in politics," Braithwaite said. She told the committee she plans to attend Brigham Young University–Idaho (BYU–Idaho) this fall and later Creighton University for dental school and orthodontics.
Committee members asked Braithwaite about what surprised her in the program and how she managed schoolwork while serving as a page. "I right as I came, I just finished my congress project in my government class...and then the second week, I got more into it and I was like, I don't know a single thing at all," Braithwaite said, describing how the program deepened her understanding of legislative work. She said pages manage coursework by contacting teachers; some pages return to their high schools for tests, while others balance lighter schedules by submitting written assignments by email.
Senators praised Braithwaite for her participation and noted civic-education opportunities the page program provides. Senator Cook and others shared that Braithwaite was hosted by a local family while serving as a page; Braithwaite thanked the Morgans of Idaho Falls for hosting her and said they invited the committee to "Taco Tuesdays." She also mentioned she will return for her senior prom on April 26.
In routine business, the committee approved minutes from meetings held March 18, March 19, March 20, March 24 and March 25, 2025. Each approval was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote; the committee chair announced "all in favor, aye... Any opposed?" and recorded the motion as carried.
