TJ Bliss, chief academic officer for the State Board of Education, told the committee that Senate Concurrent Resolution 111 from the 2024 regular session authorized preliminary talks with Utah and Utah State University about admitting Idaho students into Utah State’s new veterinary program. “The resolution also requires the State Board of Education to report back to the legislature their findings and outcomes from the conversations with the State of Utah and Utah State University,” Bliss said.
