The Missouri House Committee on Legislative Review adopted a House committee substitute and then voted to give the committee substitute for House Bill 48 and House Bill 985 a do-pass recommendation, members said at the opening of the session.
Chair Pollitt moved to adopt a distributed House committee substitute that combined two bills into a single document. The committee voice-voted “aye” and the chair said the substitute was adopted. The chair then moved that the House committee substitute for House Bill 48 and House Bill 985 be given a do-pass recommendation; the committee recorded ayes during a roll call and the motion carried.
The committee took no further debate on those items during that segment and returned to open session to hear additional bills, including a House committee substitute for House Bill 440 and House Bill 1160.
No amendments or dissenting votes were announced in the transcript passage for the HB 48/HB 985 action.
