Yukon Main Street readies small-business grant program for board approval next month

"We were updating our lists, our top 10 lists, our available spaces, and making sure that's all online and up to date," Barr said. He said the grant program discussed at prior meetings "should be ready for approval for this board's vote, next month."
Barr described plans for a public-relations rollout that would lead into a "possibilities tour," during which board members and staff would tour available spaces and showcase how they could be repurposed. He said the application window for the grant program will likely open toward the end of the year after the organization completes its EDGE program for the season.
The report did not include dollar amounts, eligibility criteria or specific timelines beyond the general schedule; Barr said applications would be presented to the board once staff completes the PR and program materials.
