Provo School Board approves multiple policy updates, 2025–26 fee schedule and boundary adjustment with Alpine

The Provo City School Board of Education voted unanimously March 28 to approve a set of policy updates, adopt a maximum school fee schedule for 2025–26 and approve a joint resolution with Alpine School District to transfer and adjust district boundaries for annexed land.

The updated policies include reemployment of retirees; parental and postpartum leave procedure; clarification of term-of-instruction calculations and calendar policies; required employee education on child abuse and human trafficking; rules and complaint processes for extracurricular activities including students using the Utah Fits All scholarship; compulsory attendance clarifications; and procedures governing school support organizations. Business Administrator Devin Dailey told the board the fee schedule establishes maximums for the 2025–26 school year and that he and Daryl will work with secondary schools to align actual fees with district policy.
