The Tax Increment District Joint Review Board voted March 28 to adopt a territorial amendment resolution removing Parcel Number 15168-A from the boundaries of Tax Increment District 5, the board said during its meeting.
The amendment, described at the meeting as a change to the TID 5 east and west downtown project plan, was approved on a motion by Cole and a second by Cale. The board chair opened the item and said, “Nothing has changed since we talked on March 11,” before members moved to a vote. Members voiced their approval and the motion passed.
Board members and staff did not raise substantive questions about the amendment during the discussion; meeting comments noted the item had previously been reviewed by the redevelopment authority and city council as part of the normal approval sequence before returning to the joint review board.
The board did not provide fiscal detail or a revised tax-increment allocation schedule for the parcel during the public discussion; no dollar amounts or projected revenue impacts were presented at the meeting.
The board expects to meet again for its annual report, likely in June or very early July, at which time the body said it will review any additional pending or new items.
