Kirkland Parks & Community Services will hold a job fair on Saturday, April 5, at North Rose Hill Community Center to recruit for a range of positions in parks and recreation, hosts said on the citys March 27 podcast.
Jason Feiler, the parks superintendent, and podcast hosts said the fair will include recruiters for year-round and seasonal jobs, across roles such as lifeguards, cashiers, program instructors and maintenance staff. Feiler said the department typically has roughly 75 year-round seasonal roles and about 160 seasonal positions during the summer season.
The podcast described the event as an opportunity for people with a range of experience levels to learn about openings and hiring processes for the parks department. The hosts encouraged listeners to attend and learn about career and seasonal work opportunities in Kirkland parks.
The podcast segment closed with an invitation to attendees to visit the job fair to learn about career pathways in parks operations.
