Terminal rehab escalators and roof complete; Taxiway J work to close a runway through August

Staff said generator replacement work is ongoing. On airfield construction, staff reported the next phase of Taxiway J‑1 and J‑2 work began the previous week and that one runway will be closed for construction through roughly August while crews finish the taxiway connections; the airport will maintain operations on the remaining runway, staff said.
Board members asked for updates on project schedule and impacts to operations. Staff said the projects are progressing “on schedule,” and emphasized they will coordinate with FAA and operations to minimize disruption.
No formal action or vote was required; staff said it would continue to brief the board on construction progress and any operational notices to the flying public.
