House approves rules for lineups and limits on facial-recognition use in photo arrays

The House voted 92-0 on final passage. Supporters framed the bill as a measure to make identification procedures more reliable and workable for law enforcement and for witnesses; no recorded opposition votes appeared on the final tally reported on the floor.
Representative Storwold said he appreciated support for the bill and asked members to vote in favor.
