The court approved the surplus declaration for items listed in Exhibit A (two ambulances: Unit 419 and Unit 1120). During the item the court read asset details as presented in the packet, including references to asset tags and the last four digits of VIN numbers. A motion to declare the items surplus was made by Precinct 1 and seconded by Precinct 2; the motion carried on a unanimous voice vote.
On a separate motion, the court approved transferring a 2020 Ford Explorer (VIN 1FM5K8AV4LGD08200 as stated in the packet) from the Lavaca County EMS department to the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office. The transfer motion was made by Precinct 1 and seconded by Precinct 2 and was approved by voice vote.
