Carl said the annualized 2025 price discussed in staff remarks was $117,600; of that total, $37,800 was described as the portion specifically for utility-billing services. Councilmembers asked whether the city retains backups of utility files; staff said the city keeps files on its network and that CityWater maintains internal backups and redundancy.
Alder Doherty moved to approve the contract; Alder Shaw seconded. The council approved the three-year agreement by voice vote.
