Fairview Park Mayor and members of the Fairview Park City Council on Jan. 13 reviewed final design drawings and an upcoming guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal for the Gemini Center rehabilitation, with construction expected to proceed after council approval of the GMP.
Council members were shown finalized drawings that have been submitted to the building department and were told the construction manager-at-risk is preparing a GMP. Roger Riaqi, owner’s representative with RFC Contracting, said the CMAR submitted a preliminary estimate in December that “is pretty close to the budget” and that the GMP should be ready for review in late January or the first part of February.
