He said soccer programming across after-school, travel and camps totals roughly 1,200 participant registrations per year (many returning participants, not all new). Bark Pups — daytime classes for babies through preschool — reached 65 registrations within two weeks of opening and exceeded initial capacity.
Staffing and partnerships Bridal said the program now has two full-time staff and several part-timers and relies heavily on volunteers and student coaches; partnerships include NFL FLAG, Junior NBA and Skyhawks and local softball clinics. He told trustees BARC has added a girls’ travel soccer program, expanded age groups for travel teams and created T-ball and other youth pathways intended to feed rec travel programs.
Board remarks Trustees thanked BARC staff for their service and described specific examples of community impact; one trustee recounted staff calming a distraught player mid-game, noting staff presence at events across long weekend schedules.
