Fuel tank purchase: Trustees also approved a contract with Corrigan Mechanical Contractors for supply and installation of a 500‑gallon FireGuard fuel tank to store off-road diesel for toll-bridge maintenance utility vehicles. Corrigan will provide refueling as needed; the tank will be locked and access restricted. The board approved the tank purchase and installation by voice vote.
Supervisor’s update on passes and operations: Supervisor Joe Porcirrelli gave an operational update on the bridge transition and the township’s plan for toll‑pass/tag payments as ownership moves from the seller to the township at the end of March. He said the third‑party vendor’s online tool to permit residents to register passes and store payment details was not yet delivered on the vendor’s timetable. Porcirrelli told the board his staff have an alternate plan to ensure vehicles will continue to be able to cross without prolonged queues if the vendor’s integration is not completed by the closing date. He said the township will use the township website, social media and emergency notification systems to notify residents when the online registration link is live.
