The board first voted by roll call to adjourn to closed session under “19.851 c” to discuss the superintendent’s annual evaluation. Commissioners Farrar, Johnson, Nordine and Dement voted yes on the motion to adjourn to closed session. In open session the board approved routine consent items: the superintendent’s consent agenda (which included a human-resources employment report; gifts totaling $13,849.47 for Oct. 1–Oct. 31, 2024; Head Start grant approval; and the 2025–26 school-year and early-learning calendars) and the board consent agenda (which included minutes for 12/16/2024, a proclamation recognizing National Human Trafficking Awareness Month and changes to the board work calendar). The superintendent’s consent agenda passed on a roll-call vote with Commissioners Farrar, Commissioner Johnson, Commissioner Nordine and Commissioner Dement recorded as voting yes. The board consent agenda was approved by voice vote.
Later, the board approved two monitoring reports (OE‑9: budget and financial planning; and OE‑10: financial administration). Motions to approve those reports were moved and seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board also instructed its WASB (Wisconsin Association of School Boards) delegate to vote yes on all 12 proposed WASB resolutions at the upcoming delegate assembly; the motion to instruct the delegate carried on a voice vote.
Finally, the board adopted a motion to adjourn the meeting. The public record shows the formal votes listed above and that the superintendent’s annual evaluation was approved in closed session; no additional evaluation details were released in open session.
