Board approves minutes, consent agenda, staffing and facilities items in 9–0 votes

The School District of Waukesha Board of Education recorded unanimous votes (9–0) on several motions at its March 12 meeting, approving minutes, multiple consent‑agenda items, finance and personnel measures and two facilities items.

Minutes and consent agenda The board approved three sets of minutes (Feb. 13 regular meeting; Feb. 13 executive session; March 3 expulsion panel) on a motion by Mrs. White; the roll call recorded nine ayes and the motion passed 9–0. The consent agenda — which the administration said included decisions of the expulsion panel, 10 resignations, one retirement and one leave of absence, and policy items (policy 5611 due process rights to be rescinded, policy 8395 student mental health services, policy 5610 suspension and expulsion, and policy 5505 academic honesty) — was moved by Mark Borowski (presented by Mr. Browski) and seconded by David Wadd; it passed 9–0.

Finance and personnel votes The finance and facilities committee recommended and the board approved changing benefit coverage for part‑time seasonal and temporary employees to the standard Social Security benefit effective July 1, 2025 (motion by Keri Kozlowski, seconded; roll call 9–0). The board also approved the 2025–26 student fee schedule with one change from the prior year: the student parking fee was reduced from $100 to $75 per semester (motion passed by roll call 9–0).
