Separately, administrators presented updated Title IX policies to reflect the federal Title IX regulatory framework as codified in the 2020 rules. Administration said the policies were revised to match the 2020 regulations and that staff training will be provided to ensure employees understand the process. The board approved the Title IX policy changes by voice vote.
Board members suggested producing a single‑page “cliff notes” version of the Title IX process for staff to improve clarity about reporting steps and timelines. Administrators said they expect to work with legal counsel as needed to ensure compliance with the law and the district’s policy language.
No formal disciplinary or complaint outcomes were presented during the meeting; the actions were limited to policy updates and committee referrals.
