The resolution asks legislators to restore revenue sharing; the chair said Bristol would receive an estimated $787,255 if restoration were enacted. Tim moved the resolution; Tony seconded. The council approved the motion on a voice vote and planned to forward the resolution to the town’s legislative delegation.
Council members said restored revenue sharing would offset local property tax obligations and help fund municipal services.
