The Plaistow Board of Selectmen took several formal actions at its March 3 meeting.
- MOU for ALS-intercept dispatch stipend: Approved. The board approved a memorandum of understanding that provides a quarterly stipend to dispatchers handling calls for a new ALS intercept program; funding and roll-up costs will be billed to the ALS program account. - Junior firefighters’ bake sale permit fee waiver: Approved. The board waived a $50 permit fee for a bake sale to be held on election day (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). The health inspector has reviewed the plan; organizers will complete required paperwork.
- Nonpublic minutes (02/24/2025): The board voted to accept the nonpublic minutes from Feb. 24, 2025, and to keep them sealed. The transcript records an abstention by one member (identified in the meeting as Jason); the motion otherwise carried.
- Consent agenda: Approved. The board approved the accounts payable manifest for the week of March 6 and the draft BOS minutes of Feb. 24, 2024, with a small correction noted to the minutes.
