- Building-fee ordinance updates (Agenda L5): Council approved updated inspection and building-fee language after negotiations with Rum River Consultants; staff said clarifications about septic-related entries will be added to the city website. Motion passed 4-0.
- Administrative-penalty code update (Agenda L6): Minor language updates tied to staffing and rental-licensing references were approved. Motion passed 4-0.
- Alternative energy zoning (Agenda L7): The council adopted code amendments creating an alternative energy-systems section and updating definitions and use regulations for large solar gardens and wind-energy systems. Motion passed 4-0.
Each item was introduced by staff and carried by unanimous roll-call votes. Where the ordinance text must be reposted for changes or returned for conditional-use review, staff indicated follow-up hearings will be scheduled as required by the city’s procedures.
