The commission accepted a parks department recommendation to hire Aaron Hall as superintendent at Camp Muffley with a salary of $35,000 and county housing on the property once arrangements are complete. JR Petzko, the county parks director, presented Hall to the commission.
The commission also approved hires for the extension office: Becca Fenn Clark introduced Sarah Ejetti as the new office manager; Ejetti said she has worked with West Virginia University and the WVU Foundation and is returning to the workforce after time off for child care.
In circuit clerk staffing, the commission approved a part-time seasonal hire, Josie Mayrose Dalton, at $10 per hour with a start date of March 31; staff said Dalton will assist with scanning older civil files.
County youth services personnel actions approved moving Mackenzie Hickey and Malcolm Caldwell from part-time to full-time youth crisis worker positions, with the positions noted as benefit-eligible and an annual salary reporting number read aloud during the meeting (the transcript recorded $33,002.80 per year for the role).
All personnel items were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote during the consent/personnel portion of the meeting.
