Richland County commissioners approve routine transfers, job posting, equipment purchase and contracts; hold executive session

At its March 27 meeting the Richland County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine administrative motions and entered an executive session on imminent court action.

The board voted to: certify the record of proceedings for March 25, approve requisitions, authorize weekly transfers and appropriation requests, approve posting for a fiscal officer position in Job and Family Services (internal and external), authorize Dayspring to purchase a lawnmower from funds set aside in its repairs line item, and approve standard "40" contracts including magistrate services for the domestic relations court and service-of-process work for the sheriff’s office. All motions recorded during the public session were approved by the board.

The board also voted to go into executive session to discuss imminent court action; the meeting record shows the board left executive session at 10:11 a.m. and reported there was nothing to report at that time.
