Airport Manager Warren Smith told the commission the JetBlue airline agreement was received “just the other day,” and recommended approval of several items including a ramp license with GullAir (which includes a $1,500 annual business fee for Part 135 on‑demand service), a Clean Harbors amendment for $1,910.04 to dispose of granular activated carbon (GAC) filter resin from the fuel‑farm secondary containment, and a Potter’s Industries two‑year supply contract for glass beads required for airfield striping. Smith said of the GAC disposal: "This is for the disposal of the GAC filter resin." He also described change order No. 5 on the housing project for $6,845.21 to accommodate a transformer relocation and installation of bollards at National Grid's recommendation.
Smith recommended tabling the SW Colt Engineering contract amendment for commissioning work until he could review it in more detail. The commission voted by roll call to approve the listed contracts and amendments, with the SW Colt item excluded from the package pending further staff review.
The commission also approved extending term lengths for fuel suppliers (World Fuel and Ascent Aviation Group) so contracts now expire in 2028, and extended a task order for McFarland Johnson to Dec. 30 (year not specified in the packet). Smith's recommendation to approve all listed contracts except the SW Colt Engineering item carried on a roll‑call vote.
