Vice Chair Jeremy Cone presided over the St. Louis City Board of Aldermen Personnel and Administration Committee on Thursday, March 20, where members authorized staff to obtain estimates for office flooring and furniture, approved replacement chairs for the Kennedy Hearing Room and voted to post a legislative assistant position for Ward 2 for 30 days.
The committee approved the posting after Chair Cone said the Ward 2 incumbent faces no election challenge and recommended moving forward. "I would recommend a motion that we post the legislative assistant position for Ward 2 for a period of 30 days," Cone said. The motion was moved by the alderman from the 14th Ward and seconded by the alderman from the 10th Ward; committee members raised no objection and the motion carried.
