The second variance permits up to two single‑family detached dwellings on lots larger than 10 acres, consistent with the developer’s plan and a county engineer (GLS) recommendation; staff said the population density would remain within the spirit of water‑availability regulations because density would not exceed one dwelling per five acres.
Both variances were recommended by GLS and approved by the commissioners by voice vote.
