Commissioners discussed funding and agreed that Road and Bridge Precinct 2 ARPA funds would cover a large portion of the purchase; the county still faces an unfunded balance of $20,424.14, which county staff said would be payable over three years. The county also noted that IH proceeds received to date are higher than budgeted and could be used to cover the remaining balance if commissioners do not allocate additional ARPA funds.
Chief Lowry told the court he will provide training for the constables on the new cameras. Commissioners approved the purchase by voice vote.
