Airport Station pedestrian improvements — consultant contract amendments (Agenda Bill 6631). KPG requested a contract increase of $190,845 (new not‑to‑exceed total $2,042,456.97). Common Street requested an increase of $105,009 (new not‑to‑exceed total $426,633.24). Emergency repair and mitigation for City Hall water damage (Agenda Bill 6679). The council suspended the rule to consider the item immediately and then adopted a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute emergency purchase authority and contracts to mitigate and repair water damage at City Hall caused by a February 28 incident. Staff clarified the expenditures would be charged to the Building Management Fund (Fund 108). The resolution passed 6–0.
Administrative procedures — City Council administrative procedures (Agenda Bill 66400). After multiple study sessions, the council adopted a resolution updating the council’s administrative procedures, covering public-comment rules, committee assignments, proclamations, travel and mandatory training. Two sections (executive sessions and virtual meetings) were held for future refinement. The resolution passed 6–0.
Consent agenda items. The consent agenda was approved without roll-call objections and included: Agenda Bill 6627 — a resolution allocating funds to finance affordable housing in South King County per the 2024 South King Housing and Homelessness Partner recommendations; Agenda Bill 6665 — an ordinance amending the city’s 2025–2026 biannual budget. (Both consent items were recommended by committee and adopted as part of the consent calendar.)
