Anderson County commissioners approve plats, contracts, bids, surplus declaration and a credit‑card policy change

The Anderson County Commissioners Court approved a series of county business items in a single session that included a final plat, vendor agreements, reimbursements and a change to the county credit‑card documentation policy.

The court voted to approve the final plat for the Tanglewoodville subdivision off Anderson County Road 378; to reimburse the Slogan Volunteer Fire Department $1,143.48 from ARPA funds for chainsaw purchases; to accept an agreement with Tarrant Regional Water District and Barr Constructors to remove road‑building material at no cost to the county for use in road and bridge repairs; to declare a New Holland motor coupler (model LW130, asset ID 613-22) surplus; to authorize the auditor to apply for renewal of a Title IV‑E child welfare grant from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services; to award the bid for dump‑truck beds (Precinct 1) to Houston Fab Truck Rigging Inc. at $16,460 per bed; to transfer a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado from the sheriff’s office to Road & Bridge Precinct 3; and to approve a contract with PACE Payment Systems for Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 electronic payments.
